Edgar Dyer Lovelady died Thursday October 13, 2011 at his home in Mustang, Oklahoma. Edgar was born December 23, 1920 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to William Henry and Annie Francis (Walker) Lovelady. He proudly served his country in the US Army and was a WWII Veteran. Edgar repaired airplanes at Wiley Post in his younger years, and was a lifetime member of the American Legion. He enjoyed eating, sleeping, telling stories to his family and friends, and waltzing with mother Holmes when he arrived home from work.

Edgar was preceded in death by:
• His wife, Gustavia
• And his oldest son Eddie

Survivors include:
• Son Marcus L. Lovelady and wife Anita
• Son Vaughn A. Lovelady
• Daughter=-In-Law Eva Lovelady
• Brothers Daniel Lovelady and wife Betty, and T.J. Lovelady and wife Catherine
• Eleven grandchildren
• Several great and great great grandchildren
• And numerous nieces and nephews.
