Jimmy, passed from this life at Baptist Hospital in OKC on July 6, 2012. He was born December 2, 1939 to Clarence and Ruth (Eppler) Popejoy in Elmore City, OK. He served his country in the US Navy from 1957-1960. Jimmy also served as a firefighter in OKC at Will Rogers for several years. He was the owner of J & J Glass and Mirror of Blanchard since 1976.

He is preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers Billy and Tommy Popejoy.

He is survived by his wife; Maryletta Sue Popejoy of the home,

one sister; Karen Whatley and husband Terry of Newcastle,

one Son; Ricky “Bud” Popejoy and wife Mona of Lindsay, OK,

one daughter; Cynthia Dale Popejoy and Forrest Underwood of Moore,

6 grandchildren; Caleb Popejoy of Lindsay, Crystal Limon and husband Trey of Moore, Sarah Williams and husband Brad of Ardmore, Dustin Mann of Norman, Joshua Popejoy and wife Danielle of Minot, ND, and Rachel Popejoy of OKC.

9 Great grandchildren; Kaden, Keagen, & Kolt Williams, Riley & Sean White, Jace Limon, Hadlee Mann, Rome & Rayne Jones.
