Courtney LaRae Keen-Flores passed away surrounded by family & was welcomed into the arms of her heavenly father on December 13, 2014. She was born in Oklahoma City on November 5, 1975. She attended Grace Christian Academy K-12 and Grace Assembly of God church, being very active in the youth group there. She attended OCCC and OU before moving to Waxahachie, Texas to attend SAGU. There she attended University Assembly of God, where she sang on the church praise team, along with using her exceptional talent in singing solos. Here she met & married Sam Flores and gave birth to two beautiful children. Her family was her greatest joy in life. Along with the challenges of raising a family, she built a successful floral business, “Fresh”. God gave her a special gift in floral design, which quickly won the hearts of many customers in the Dallas metro area. Her exceptional talent made her the preferred florist for weddings & special events in her home town of Waxahachie. Beyond her talent was her ability to touch & influence everyone she met with her Christian testimony. Courtney’s compassion for others had no boundaries. She will always be remembered for her laughter & genuine love for all those she encountered.
