Jack Roland Kelley, 84, died February 4, 2015. Born February 28, 1930 in McAlester, Oklahoma to Lester R. Kelley and Hazel B. Mullen Kelley (Beams) and the grandson of McAlester Pioneers, Mr. & Mrs. W. P. Mullen and Mr. & Mrs. W.E. Kelley. He was a graduate of McAlester High School and the University of Oklahoma and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He served in several vice president positions with a major subsidiary of a Fortune 500 corporation (Kerr-McGee Chemical Corp.) and retired as President and Chairman of the Board of one of its subsidiary companies. He also served on the Board of Directors of Basic Management, Inc. (a Nevada corporation) and the American Porcelain Institute. His executive duties required considerable travel in North America, Europe, Saudi Arabia, India, Southeast Asia, Australia and the Orient. He was a member of the Church of Christ and also a member of the American Institute of CPA’s, the Oklahoma Society of CPA’s, the American Legion, the Petroleum Club and the Chambers of Commerce of Oklahoma City and Ridgecrest, California and other organizations.
He was preceded in death by his:
