Ronald Dwayne  Armes
Ron passed away surrounded by his family on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 in Oklahoma City at the age of 72. The son of Audie Ward and Verda Mae (Phipps) Armes, Ron was born April 21, 1943 in San Antonio, Texas. After graduating from Midwest City High School, Ron continued his education at Oklahoma State University, where he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. During the Vietnam Era, Ron honorably and bravely served his country in the United States Army. He married his sweetheart, Carolyn Ann Cooley on August 14, 1971 and together shared more than 44 years of marriage and family. For many years, Ron worked in Civil Service as an accountant having worked at Reese Air Force Base in Lubbock, Texas and Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas, where he retired from in 1998. Shortly after, Ron and Carolyn moved to OKC, where they began working in real estate. At the time of his passing, Ron was working with Metro First Realty. In his spare time, Ron enjoyed working in the yard and gardening. He also enjoyed worshiping at Crossing Community Church, but most of all just being with his family and friends. He will be deeply missed.

Daughter, Andrea Dunn and her husband, BJ; and their children Jamilyn Pride and her husband, Rance, and Trey Dunn;
Daughter, Deidra Davis and her husband, Chris; and their children Constance Davis, Camilla Davis, and Daxton Davis;
Daughter, Jennifer Gumerson and her husband, Erik; and their children Oliver Gumerson, Harper Gumerson, and one more grandson on the way in August;
Sister, Glenda Fatkin and her husband, Tom
