Kristopher Shawn Dorrough departed this earthly life on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at the age of 29. The son of Vicki Lee (Lewis) and Bryce Coleman Dorrough, Kris was born August 23, 1986 in Norman, Oklahoma. In 2005, Kris graduated from Norman High School, where he excelled in art. He enjoyed playin in local bands including Subhead and Avondale and later in Suriess and The Proprietors of the Earth. Kris was an outstanding drummer. Kris continued his education at The University of Oklahoma, where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Numerical Analysis and Physical Science. Kris was most recently working for Munger Paint Supply. When Kris wasn’t working, he enjoyed composing music and writing lyrics. Water sports including slaloming, wake boarding, and SCUBA diving were some of Kris’ favorite summertime activities. Kris will always be remembered for his kindness, sensitivity, intelligence, sense of humor and his keen perceptions. He was a loving son, uncle and loyal friend who will be deeply missed.

Maternal Grandparents, Ruby and C.L. Lewis;
Uncle, Mark Lewis;
Brother, Matthew Aaron Dorrough.

Kris is survived by his loving:
Parents, Vicki and Bryce Dorrough;
Paternal Grandparents, Marie and Joe Dorrough;
Niece, Briona Dorrough;
Many other loving family and friends.
