Obituary for Melvin Louis Wilson

Melvin Louis Wilson was born November 7, 1928 at Eldorado, Oklahoma to Oliver Charles and Fannie (Parker) Wilson. He was one of twelve children. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Nettie Faye; six brothers, Claude, Earnest, Troy, Bud, Billy and Gale; four sisters, Lola, Hazel, Mozelle and Olene. He is survived by one sister, Gladys Morris of Arlington, TX and many nieces, nephews, grandkids and great grand kids. He was a long time member of Central Hillcrest Baptist Church where he taught Sunday School for many years. He also liked to play golf and fish. He graduated from Eldorado H.S. and joined the Army in 1948 serving his country six years with a stint in Korea part of 1952 and 1953. Being discharged in 1954 he worked in the oil field for many years retiring from Baker Oil Tools in 1989. Friends are encouraged to leave condolences on this page.
