Marie Ingram went to be with the Lord surrounded by her family on Thursday, December 22, 2016 at the age of 98. The daughter of Lillie Mae (Chappel) and William Henry Smith, Marie was born August 5, 1918 in Beaver, Oklahoma. Marie married her sweetheart, Thomas Jefferson Ingram on October 26, 1936 and together shared more than 48years of marriage and raising a family until his passing on July 21, 1984. Marie dedicated her life to providing a warm and loving home for her family. Known by all as “Meme”, she worked for the Oklahoma County Election Board for 45 years and was an active member of the May Ave Wesleyan Church for many years. She enjoyed cooking, canning and baking pies. Above all else, Marie loved the Lord, serving him, her family and others. She will be remembered for her infectious smile and will be deeply missed each day.

Meme was preceded in death by her:
Parents;
Husband of 48 years, Thomas Jefferson Ingram;
Brothers: Bob Smith, Ed Smith, Tom Smith and Troy Pete Smith;
Sisters: Johnnie Egger, Sallie Capps and Frankie Sanders;
Great Grandson, Wesley Wade Wood;
Son-in-law, Jack Wood.

Meme leaves cherished memories with her loving:
Daughter: Sandra Arnold and her husband, PM;
Daughter, Lillian Wood;
6 Grandchildren;
11 Great Grandchildren;
6 Great-Great Grandchildren;
Many other loving family and friends.
