Visitation will be at the funeral home on Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2017 from 4-8 PM, and the family will greet guests from 4-6 PM. Funeral service will be at Cherokee Hills Church of Christ on Thursday, Jan. 26, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. with burial to follow at Resurrection Memorial Cemetery.

Patricia F. James passed away Sunday, January 22, 2017. Patricia was born onFebruary 25, 1926 in Anadarko, Oklahoma. She is preceded in death by her parents Mary and John Tyson, 11 brothers and sisters, her loving husband Beryle E. James of 68 years and son Randy James. She is survived by her daughter Nancy James Serwer of Oklahoma City, grandson Dr. Brad Serwer of Bethesda, Maryland, granddaughter Valerie Serwer Traynor of Oklahoma City, her sister Jean Culp and many nieces and nephews. Patricia had 4 great grandchildren, Gavin, Brayden, Cooper Serwer of Bethesda, Maryland and Avett Bleu Traynor of Oklahoma City.
Patricia graduated from Putnam City High School in 1944. Homemaker and loving mother Patricia was a faithful member of The Church of Christ for almost 70 years. She enjoyed cooking, reading and loved everything about the Oklahoma Sooners and OKC Thunder. There will be a viewing at the funeral home on Wednesday, January 25th from 4pm- 6pm. Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, January 26th at Cherokee Hills Church of Christ, 6724 NW 63rd St. OKC, OK.
