Condolence: Our home backed up to the Rowland farm. Since I was in bands back in the day (GDI). We knew of the Continentals.
I did not know Gary personally, I did enjoy his band, they were pretty good.
I offer my deepest sympathies to his family and friends.

Condolence From: Randy Vicknair
Condolence: After knowing the Rowland family for a short period of time we decided to all have dinner one evening. We had a great time getting to know each other but the best moment of the evening for me was standing on the sidewalk and Gary coming up close to me, standing on his tip toes he kissed me on the cheek said "welcome to the family son". Those are words I will never forget as long as I live. Rest in Peace Pop, I'll miss you forever.

Condolence: We were so sorry to read that Gary passed. We saw Gary and Glenda at a restaurant a couple of years ago and we told them our son Mark had died a few years previous. They hadn't heard about his death. When we got ready to pay the bill at the restaurant we were told that Gary and Glenda had paid for our dinner. What a kind thing to do. Our condolences to the family. May Gary rest in peace and perpetual light shine upon him.
