Danny, 54, passed away Feb 8, 2017 at his home in Moore, OK. He was born May 17, 1962 in Oklahoma City to Homer Box & Phyllis (Hudson) Osburn. As a young boy, Danny could read for hours on end, & was known to read newspapers from front to back. During H.S. he loved playing sports & was even offered a golf scholarship to OSU, but after graduating from Moore H.S. in ‘80, he joined the US Marine Corps. He proudly served his country for 7 years earning the rank of sergeant, & was honorably discharged in ‘87. Upon his return he started a career in auto sales, & later began officiating sports, which was his passion. Danny spent the majority of his free time at the golf course, but most recently took up bowling, & he was a great competitor in both activities. He was a wonderful son, brother, & a dear friend who will forever be in the hearts of those who knew him. Preceded in death by his father Homer Box, & one brother Darrell Box. He is survived by his mother, Phyllis Osburn; brother, Douglas Box; two sons, Ashton & John Box; beloved granddaughter, Paisley Box; his nieces, nephews, & many relatives & friends.
