Geraldine “Gerri” Singleton Huggins, 87, went to be with the Lord on March 10, 2017 in Midwest City, Oklahoma. Gerri was born February 14, 1930 in Wewoka, Oklahoma. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Moore for many years. Gerri was an avid golfer playing at Earlywine and Lincoln Golf Courses. At Earlywine Gerri was a Ladies Club Champion and also hit a hole-in-one there. She was a quilter and made quilts for all of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Gerri was also an accomplished horse woman and rider. Not only was Gerri the matriarch of her family, but she had a deep love for them. Attending church from an early age herself, Gerri always took her daughters to Sunday School and Church. Gerri was an entrepreneur and was involved in Stainless Steel Cook Ware, Home Interiors, and Fashion 220 Make Up. She was a member of Women In Construction Club. Gerri was also an Office Manager in Oil and Gas industry for many years and she ended her career as the House Director “Mom” at Phi Mu Fraternity, Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Oklahoma.

Gerri was preceded in death by:
• Her parents Clarence Ester and Nora Virginia (Roach) Singleton
• Sister, Nora Mae Anno
• Brothers, Clarence E. Singleton, Jr. and Merle C. Singleton
• And infant brother, Jimmy Singleton

Survivors include:
• Children, Janice Mitchell and her husband Don of Stillwater, Oklahoma; Linda Fisher and her husband Doug of Kingfisher, Oklahoma; and Sandra Worley and her husband Claude “Stubby” of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
• Brothers, Earl C. Singleton of Noble, Oklahoma and Tommy L. Singleton of Tulare, California
• Grandchildren, CPO Jesse Mitchell and his wife Danielle of Norfolk Naval Base, Norfolk, Virginia; Matt Mitchell and his wife Jenn of Stillwater, Oklahoma; Darla Vander Pol and her husband Brent of Spring, Texas; Nicole Shaddox and her husband Ben of Fayetteville, Arkansas; Jeff Worley of Wagoner, Oklahoma; and Misty Fuzzell and her husband Butch of Overland Park Kansas
• Great-grandchildren, Jacob and Lily Mitchell; Nate Vander Pol; Cade, Lydia and Ava Shaddox; and Lyla, Maya, and Zane Fuzzell
