Rhonda lost her courageous battle with cancer on Friday, April 14, 2017, with her husband of 40 years, Stuart, by her side. Rhonda was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Gerald and Carol Forsyth. Rhonda graduated from Southeast High School and the University of Central Oklahoma. She became a Registered Nurse in 1978. A caretaker at heart, Rhonda bonded and became friends with many of her patients. But nothing was more precious to Rhonda than spending time with her family. Her grandchildren were the light of her life and attending their many activities and events brought her great joy. She will be missed dearly by all who knew her. Rhonda also loved animals and especially had a soft spot for those abandoned and stray. Rhonda was preceded in death by her grandparents and her mother, Carol Forsyth. She is survived by her father, Gerald Forsyth and his wife Joyce; her husband, Stuart Howard; children, Rebecca and Bryan Bichsel, Ryan and Laurel Howard, Juliet and Jon Hill all of Oklahoma City; brothers Carter Forsyth of Tuttle and Mark McCutcheson of Newalla; grandchildren, Tyler, Jacob, Jackson, and Grace Bichsel; Maxwell and Juliana Hill; and many other family & friends. Visitation will be Tuesday 4-8PM and Wednesday 4-7PM. A Rosary service will be held at 7:00 PM Wednesday at Vondel Smith at South Lakes. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. The family asks that donations be made to the Oklahoma Humane Society in lieu of flowers.
