Services to celebrate her life will be held at 12 Noon, Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at Little Chapel of the Roses at Resthaven Cemetery.


Marilyn, 80, joined Heaven’s angels on May 25, 2017. The daughter of J.W. & Gertrude Haas, Marilyn was born Feb 17, 1937 in Lookeba, OK. She graduated from Lookeba High School. Marilyn later married her sweetheart, Robert Stanley Fansher, Jr. on Oct 30, 1974 & together shared more than 42 years of marriage. In addition to being a loving wife, devoted mother & doting grandmother, Marilyn also owned & operated Mar-bo Kennels before retiring. She loved to garden & was an expert at it. Marilyn was also an avid OU Sooner & OKC Thunder sports fan. She never missed an opportunity to catch a game. Marilyn will be deeply missed each day. She was preceded in death by her parents & son, Kyle Dean Chambers. She leaves cherished memories with her loving family: husband of 42 years, Bob Fansher; daughter, Cindy Woford and her husband, Chuck; son, Robert Stanley Fansher, III and his wife, Marta; daughter, Denise Chambers; daughter, Jessica Smith and her husband, Tim; 7 grandchildren: Charles Woford, Waylon Simons, Casey West, Ashley Simons, Jake Fansher, Jill Fansher, and Emma Smith; 8 great grandchildren: Barrett Simons, Charles Woford, Preston Chaffin, Reahann Chaffin, Rylie West, Charles West, Kyle Woford, and Miranda Simons; and many other loving family and friends.
