Obituary for Raymond Tisdale
Viewing will be held 4:00 - 8:00pm Monday (June 26th) and Tuesday (June 27th) at the funeral home (6934 S. Western Ave).
Services to celebrate his life will be held 2:00pm Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at the South Colonial Chapel (6934 S. Western Ave)
Raymond went to be with the Lord June 23, 2017. He was born to James & Mary Tisdale in Newton, MS. He married Jewell Osborne & spent many happy years together until her death in 2009. He again found love with Sharon Ball and spent the remainder of his life enjoying married life with Sharon. Raymond proudly served in the US Army, and afterwards found a career in truck driving. He was a hard worker and enjoyed yard work and his church, but what he truly loved was his family, which was everything to him. He was a loving husband, and doting father & grandfather who will be deeply missed.
Raymond was preceded in death by his:
Parents ~ James and Mary Tisdale
First wife ~ Jewell Osborne
Brothers ~ Clarence, Thomas, Billy Joe, WH, Eugene Tisdale
Sister ~ Elizabeth Swanner
Son-in-law ~ Christos Kosmopolis
Grandson ~ Jeffrey Clegg
Raymond leaves behind his:
Wife ~ Sharon Tisdale;
Daughters ~ Victoria Kosmopolis, Sandra Stacy & husband Larry, Tammy Isenhour & husband James, and Janet Cardinal & husband Leo;
Step-son ~ Brian Osborne;
Step-daughter ~ Tracy Owens;
Grandchildren ~ Jamie Smith, Kimberly Benham, Scott Kosmopolis, Julie McEwn, Christis Kosmopolis, Sheri Thomas, David Kosmopolis, Michael Stacy, Christina Shires, Wesley Morris, Summer Messenger, and Drew Owens;
42 Great-Grandchildren;
20 Great Great-Grandchildren;
Many other loving family and friends.
