Shirley passed away Friday at the age of 74. She was born and raised in Oklahoma City by her parents Isaac & Stella Johns. While attending Capitol Hill High School, she met & married her children’s father. She worked for many years as a beautician & retired in 1995 but never lost her passion for the salon. Shirley remarried to Gene George in May of 1978, & his son Arthur was lovingly welcomed to the family. Shirley was a loving wife, mother, & grandmother who will be forever missed. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Gene, her brother, Thomas Isaac Johns, & her sister, Doris Jean Banks. Shirley is survived by her sons: Kenneth Lee Hale and Candy; Arthur George & Ellen. Daughters: Rhonda Faught & Nancy Hale. Grandchildren: Steven & Dustin Faught, Whitney Ragan, Breanna, Samantha, Bonnie Hale, Travis Woodyard. Great grandchildren: Skye Lynn Faught, Blake Faught, Chris Faught, Lillith Barr, & Alaenah Hecker; Brother, William Joseph Johns, & many other loving family & friends.
