Jerry, 72, went to be with the Lord on Aug 21, 2017. The son of David & Virginia Cynova, Jerry was born Oct 22, 1944 in McCook, NE. He graduated from St. Xavier High School, Junction City Kansas. Jerry honorably served his county in the US Air Force. He married the love of his life, Mary Ellen Weber on AUGUST 27. 1966, At Eglin AFB, Fl., Jerry settled his family in Jenison Mich., Kansas City Mo., Memphis, Tn. and Oklahoma City. He worked as a customer service representative and manager for Northwest Airlines. He retired in 2004 He was an active member of St James Catholic Church, Jerry was also a member of the Knights of Columbus. In his spare time, Jerry enjoyed fishing, and golf. But most of all being with his family. Jerry will be remembered for his kindness and was known for his friendliness. His legacy will continue to live on through us. Preceded in death by his father, …. He leaves behind his loving family: wife of 52 years, Mary Ellen Cynova; son, Kevin Cynova & wife Bre, granddaughter Cassandra, Kathy Smith & husband, Cary, grandson Tanner and granddaughter Tia, and their cousin Jordan, brother Jim Cynova and wife Barbara and their son. Sister Janet Miller and her husband Bob and her three children. Brother Bill Cynova and his son and wife Betty. Brother Bob Cynova his wife Wanda ,and two girls. Brother Dan Cynova and his wife Lauren, sister Beverly Thornberg and her four children. No viewing or visitation at funeral home, only prior to mass. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 AM Friday, Aug 25, 2017 at St. James Catholic Church, 4201 S McKinley. Committal of Ashes will be held 10:00 AM Monday, Aug 28, 2017 at Heritage Burial Park at South Lakes.
