Obituary for Clarence Leo Thompson

Viewing will be held 4-8 pm Wednesday, September 5th and Thursday, September 6th at the funeral home.

Services will be held 10:00 AM Friday, September 8, 2017 at Grace Baptist Church (3141 NW 10th St)

Burial will follow at 2:00 pm Friday, September 8, 2017 at Resthaven Memory Gardens.

Clarence Leo Thompson, 96, passed from this life Sunday, September 3, 2017. He was born February 11, 1921 the son of Robert Preston and Mettie V. (Rainbolt) Thompson in Tishomingo, Oklahoma. After completing high school Clarence proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy. He worked as a General Foreman at Tinker Air Force Base. He was also a longtime faithful member of Grace Baptist Church. Clarence married Bertha Olive Thompson and they lived a happy 63 years together until her death in 2001.


Clarence was preceded in death by his:
Parents;
Wife ~ Bertha Thompson;
Daughter ~ Hope Hatfield;
Brother ~ Robert Thompson;
Sister ~ Jane Grant
Sister ~ Bonnie McDowell, who passed on the same day.

Clarence leaves behind his:
Daughters ~ Joy Huggins, and Gaye Leta Nievar & husband Jack;
Brothers ~ Conrad, Charles, and Jim Thompson;
Sister ~ Flora Hairell;
Grandchildren ~ Wren, Sherry, Scott, Stephanie, Melinda, Brian, Clint, Kimberlee and Jennifer;
Great-grandchildren;
Great-great-grandchildren;
Many other loving family and friends.
