Condolences

Condolence From: Patsy "Pat" Skidgel
Condolence: I am sorry I was unable to attend the services. I would have loved to meet Woody's family. I saw the obit in the newspaper and read it to see if it was the Woody I remembered from childhood. I lived on S.W. 41st St growing up. Then my parents bought property in Nicoma Park. Dad built a house there and we moved at the end of my 7th grade year. And I went to Choctaw High School and graduated from there, still live in the school district less than two miles from where I grew up. Anyway. Woody lived 3 houses down the street from us. I knew Barry better than I knew Woody. Barry was the same age as my brother Jerry. But we knew the whole family. Went to church with them for special occasions. As we attended the Baptist church there on Portland. Have lots of fond memories of the whole family and also admired Woody. Most younger kids look up to the older ones even tho he was only 2 yrs older than me. Just want to tell you that I am remembering you in my thoughts and prayers. I know you will miss him very much. Oh yes, is he buried at Resthaven? I have lots of family there and I would like to check his grave when I go sometimes.
