Visitation will be held Monday & Tuesday from 4-8 PM, the family will be present at the funeral home to greet friends & family from 4-6 PM Tuesday.

Services to honor & celebrate her life will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2017 at Vondel L. Smith South Lakes Chapel 4000 S. W. 119th Oklahoma City, OK 73173.

Carmell, 99 years of age, a longtime resident of Oklahoma City was born in Stonewall, OK to Clint & Anna Miers September 14, 1918. She passed away with family by her side on October 27, 2017. She graduated in Oklahoma City from Central High School 1937. She was a member of the Methodist Church. She will be forever remembered as a loving & devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister & friend. She found great joy in family gatherings; cooking for her family was her passion with her fried chicken & potato salad being second to none. Carmell loved to play cards with friends and was well known for her love of travelling.

She was preceded in death by her parents,
Husbands; Charles Loflin, Frank Dillard, Charles Morris;
Daughter in law Jane E. Loflin &
Brother Clinton L. “Bud” Miers.
She is survived by her children;
Charles E. Loflin & wife Martha,
John W. Loflin,
Caroline E. Berkenbile & husband Terry,
Susan J. Werner & husband Peter,
William S. Loflin & wife Sherie;
Sister Ann LeBoeuf;
Brother Donald Miers & wife Donna;
Grand Children: Donald Loflin, Michael Loflin, John Loflin Jr, Lisa Scott, Brian Berkenbile, B.J. Berkenbile, April Koontz, Angie Livesay, Amber Martinez, Rebecca Truitt, Matthew Loflin, Melissa Smith;
18 Great Grand Children &
1 Great Great Granddaughter.
