Obituary for Alvin Doyle Burchett

Alvin Doyle Burchett was born October 9, 1946 in Oklahoma City the son of David Edward and Julia Cordila (Hutcheson) Burchett. He completed this life on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at the age of 71.

Alvin was raised in Oklahoma City where he graduated from U.S. Grant High School in the class of 1964. He served our country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Alvin and his brother, Jerry, started Ann’s Chicken Fry House on NW 39th Street. Alvin served many customers at the restaurant for 46 years.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley Ann (Pebworth)Burchett; his brother, Thomas Edward Burchett and his wife, Shirley of Caddo Mills, TX; his sons, Ronnie Burchett and his wife Delanna of Oklahoma City and Nathan Calloway and his wife Kristy of Durant, OK; his daughters, Cassandra “Sandy” Reese and her husband, Erik of Estero, FL and Marketta Burchett of OKC; and 9 Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Jerry.

Memorial service will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, Nov. 1st in the Chapel of the Vondel Smith Mortuary North, 13125 N. MacArthur Blvd.
