Services will be held on Monday, Nov. 6, 2017 at 2 PM at Vondel L. Smith South Lakes location

Neva Maxine McKinley entered Heaven’s gates on Thursday, November 2, 2017 at the age of 87. Neva was born July 12, 1930 in Cherokee City, Arkansas to her parents, James Franklin and Alma Pearl (Pottenger) Couch. After graduating from Moore High School in 1948, Neva started her career in clerical work. She later retired from the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health where she worked as a secretary for many years. Neva was a longtime member of Brookwood Baptist Church and was a living example of someone who was after God’s own heart. Neva was actively involved in her church as member of the choir and adored her Sunday school class. She was also involved in the “1921 – 1958 Moore Alumni Association.” She found great joy in crafting, such as making bird houses, floral arrangements and she loved collecting porcelain and glassware antique items. She will be deeply missed.
She was preceded in death by her:
Parents, James and Alma (Pottenger) Couch;
Infant Sister;
Brother, Gordon Couch


She leaves cherished memories with her loving family:
Daughter, Janell Baker and her husband, Ed;
One sister in law;
Many extended family;
And Close friends at Village On The Park.
