Obituary for Albert James Mallory

Vondel Smith Mortuary at South Lakes 4000 S. W. 119th Oklahoma City, OK 73173

Albert James Mallory, 84, was taken by God’s angels to be with Jesus on January 10, 2018.
Albert was born on February 26, 1933 in Oklahoma City to Harrison and Anna Mallory. He was a very dedicated and loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.
He married Jean Ward on September 27, 1955 in OKC and together they had 5 daughters. They shared 53 incredible years together in marriage until she passed in his arms on August 4, 2008.
A man of many passions, Albert enjoyed singing in the church choir, playing Moon, fishing, and playing softball. Albert organized, coached, and played softball with many teams, most notably Abby’s Annihilators and the OKC Royals.
Albert was a steadfast Christian. He lived his life loving others and sharing the Gospel freely. Rarely did he leave a conversation with his friends and family without telling them “sure do love you” and “you are so, so special”.
Loved ones who welcomed him to Heaven are his wife Jean, his parents, brothers Bob and Harry Mallory, sister Betty Faulkenberry, Aunt Minnie Detrick, grandson Nathan Jordan & a host of other loving family & friends. Loved ones remaining are fiancée Carole Rains; daughters and spouses: Kristi and William, Kellie and Ralph, Carrie, Connie and Steve, and DeAnna and John; 16 grandchildren: Matt, James, Melissa, Justin, John, Michael, James, Anna, Rebecca, Jacob, Mallori, Lauren, Abby, Allie, Emily, and Alex; and 41 great-grandchildren.

Albert’s fondest wish would be that none of his many loved ones miss the glorious reunion in Heaven, awaiting those that love and serve Jesus.
