Norma Jacqueline Belless entered Heaven’s gates on Saturday, April 14, 2018 in Houston, Texas. The daughter of Thomas William and Lucille (Pierson) Reynolds, Norma was born on May 18, 1925 in Norman, Oklahoma. A 1944 graduate of Central High School, Norma married her sweetheart, Harry F. Belless on February 4, 1950. They were blessed with 2 children, a son and a daughter and together they enjoyed more than 52 years of marriage and family until Harry’s passing in 2002. In addition to being a loving wife, devoted mother, and dedicated homemaker, Norma also worked as a bank teller for various banks in Oklahoma and California for many years. In her spare time, Norma enjoyed many hobbies such as ceramics, flower arranging, fishing, camping in their motor home and genealogy. She was very talented and skilled with many assorted arts and crafts, such as painting, knitting, sewing and jewelry making. Norma was known for her dedication to her church, stepping in and doing anything that was needed. Nothing was more important to Norma than serving her family and her Lord. For many years, Norma worshipped and fellowshipped at Hillcrest Christian Church. Norma relocated to be near family in Texas in 2014. Norma will be remembered for her sweet spirit and love of people. She will be deeply missed.

Norma was preceded in death by her:
Parents;
Husband of 52 years, Harry F. Belless;
Brother, Jackie Reynolds;
Sisters, Velma Reynolds, Betty McMann, and Rada Jo Mackey;
Grandson, Matthew Covault.

Norma leaves behind her loving:
Son, Timothy Belless and his wife, Donna;
Daughter, Mary Covault and her husband, Mike;
Brother, James Reynolds;
Grandchildren, Brian Covault, Col. Shawn Covault, Amanda Coates, and
Kelly Belless;
10 Great Grandchildren;
Many other loving family and friends.
