Virginia, (88), passed away on April 26, 2018. She was born on August 8, 1929 in Dawson County, TX to Emett & Ethel Vandivere. She was raised in the West Texas area, graduated from O’Donnell High School and then attended Southern Nazarene University. She married Harold Faith on July 10, 1950 and they shared 60 years together until his death in 2011.
She worked most of her life in banking as a Branch Manager and Officer for First Federal Savings & Loan in Lubbock, TX. She also worked at Texas Tech University and loved the Red Raiders.
Virginia was a longtime member of Lubbock First Church of the Nazarene, serving as a Sunday school teacher and missions president. She made great memories on mission trips with her church friends. She and Harold moved to Oklahoma City in 2009, became members of Trinity Church of the Nazarene, and made new friends in their home here.
Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, husband, five sisters, and four brothers.
She leaves behind three daughters Carol Mixon & husband Al, of Dodson, TX; Cheryl Rogers & husband Mack, of Sherman, TX; Cathy Buchanan & husband Steve, of Oklahoma City, OK. She was “Granginny” to seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren (ninth one due next week); numerous nieces, nephews, extended family & friends.
