Condolence: Dear Harry, Ken, Carol, and you were greatly blessed by having such a dedicated, sweet, loving, virtuous, godly mother! Donna and I and our children were blessed to have known her. Her light will continue to shine in our hearts as in the lives of so many other people who came in contact with her. While there is no easy way to give up someone so precious, we know you are comforted beyond the power of words by the knowledge that she loved and served the Lord and was borne by angels into His presence and peace. Like the saints who likewise have gone ahead of us, she rests from her labors and patiently waits to see us all again on the Last Great Day. That day cannot come too soon! We pray for all of your family to find peace in many precious memories and in the power of God's love. "Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God" (2 Cor. 1:3-4). In Christian love, Ron and Donna Halbrook

Condolence: Harry and Lesley and Ken and Cindy and families: Carla and I are so sorry to hear of the passing of your mom. I know there is a hole in your world and in your heart. She raised you guys to love the Lord and put Him first in all you do. We are thinking of you at this difficult time. Our prayer is that you go to your garden of godly memories that you have of her and visit often and let her influence live on in your lives. It was our pleasure to have known her and appreciated her over the years. She was so hospitable and kind to everyone she met. She loved the Lord and longed to be with Him more than anything else. She is at peace now. She, Carolyn and Tom along with others are enjoying themselves now more than ever (if that is indeed possible). Please feel free to call on Carla and I for anything we can do to help you through this difficult time. We love you all and cherish our friendship over the years. Love In Him, Stan and Carla Adams 470 17th Avenue Drive NE, Hickory, NC 28601
