Obituary for Harold Lloyd Barton

Harold Lloyd  Barton
Harold Lloyd Barton was born December 22, 1925 in Texanna, OK the son of John Thomas and Susan Jane (Headrick ) Barton. He completed this life on Friday, May 25, 2018 in Oklahoma City at the age of 92.

Harold served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II. He began his career in the insurance industry in 1954. He founded Barton Insurance Marketing working with over 10,000 agents during his career.

He married Betty Jean Franks on June 7, 1947 in Ft. Smith, AR. He was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years on February 7, 2002. He was also preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Leonard and Jack Barton.

He is survived by his daughter, Linda brothers and her husband Robert of Austin, TX; his son, Bruce Barton of OKC; his grandchildren, Lindsay Barton of OKC, Daniel Brothers and his wife Shannon of Pawleys Island, SC, Susannah Hollinger and her husband Michael of Austin, TX, Mathew Brothers and his wife Sherry of Arlington, TX and David Brothers and his wife Asha of Portland, OR; his great Grandchildren, Viviane Brothers, Caroline Brothers, Kayla Hollinger, Liliana Hollinger, Robert Julian Singh Brothers, Shay Doshi and Anika Doshi.

Memorial service will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 2nd in the First Presbyterian Church Chapel, 1001 NW 25th. A private family interment will be made in Memorial Park Cemetery.
