I got my love of "crawdad fishing" from grandma Kaye. When I was little and would go visit she would say its time to go hunt some crawdads . We would get a stick, some string, and bacon and then walk to the park by her house. There was a little creek by the park that had a ton of crawdads in it . We always tried the catch the big red one and only once did we snag him. I loved crawdad fishing so much that I even snuck a jar home in my over night bag that was full of them a I hid them in my closet . YIKES! When Megan or Hailey came to town we always went crawdad fishing and she taught both of my boys too !
