John, 15, beloved son of Coren “Cory” Smith and Daryl Schwemley, departed this life on September 19, 2018. He was born June 5, 2003 in Oklahoma City.

He attended Jefferson Elementary in Norman & Mustang Valley Elementary, as well as Canyon Ridge and Mustang North Middle School. John was currently attending Mustang High School where he was active in the Robotics Club. John was part of team “Clutch” & he had been active with the Robotics Club since middle school. Spending time with his club classmates and instructors was the highlight of his day at school. John was an avid gamer. Two of his favorite games to play were Dark Souls 3 and Mechwarrior Online. John also had a great sense of humor and one of his favorite things to do was to find funny memes on the internet and share them with family or friends.

John enjoyed spending time with his family and he loved them all dearly. John was known for being affectionate and loving to all who knew him. He will be deeply missed by all who loved him and he will continue to live on in our hearts.

John was preceded in death by his Nana, Sara Zeigler-Tollett.

brother, Lyle Schwemley;
sister, Tyler Schwemley;
step-brother Aaron Smith;
step-sister Amanda Butler;
Grandparents: Pat & Bud Schwemley, Lee Tollett, Marcia Baker Smith & Wayne “Batman” Dunkeson.
