Jane Jackson, 85, passed away on October 7, 2018. She was born March 9, 1933 in Pauls Valley, OK to Jess and Dorothy (Rickey) Wicklin. Jane graduated from Pauls Valley High School and then moved to Oklahoma City. On July 30, 1954 Jane married Eddie Jackson and setup a home in Oklahoma City. In August of 1955 Jane and Eddie were blessed with the birth of their only son, Jim. Jane worked at Wilson Foods for over 35 years and enjoyed the close friendships she developed there for many years after her retirement. Jane and her family always enjoyed boating on Lake Texoma, and in 1994 Jane and Eddie retired to the lake where they lived together until his death in 2005. Jane continued to live at the lake until 2016, when she moved back to Oklahoma City and has lived at Legend at Rivendell, where she had many good friends. Jane is survived by her son Jim and wife Becky Jackson; grandson Todd Jackson; sister Carole and husband Harden Hassell; brother in-law Clarence and wife Jessie Jackson; brother in-law Frank and wife Karen Jackson; brother in-law Fred Jackson; niece Shannon and husband Brad Rogers; nephew Scott and wife Tara Hassell; niece Deidre Beach; niece Debbie and husband Milton Kirby; nephew Chris and wife Kathy Jackson; cousin James Robert and wife Jeanne Rickey; cousin Lester and wife Effie Fahle; and numerous great nieces, great nephews, extended family, and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and many aunts and uncles.
