Obituary for Adeline M Zaremba

Adeline Marie Zaremba passed away into God’s arms on November 23rd, 2020. She was born in the Bronx, NY in September of 1925 along with her twin sister, Martha to Lester and Martha Morrison. She lived all her 95 years with much joy and happiness.
Adeline loved school, especially her all-girl Catholic school in NYC St. Jean Baptiste. She often spoke fondly of her school, classmates and the nuns. The family moved often – from East coast to the West coast, with stops in Arizona, Texas and finally Oklahoma. Her favorite place for friends was Ventura, CA and her favorite house was on a lake in Peoria, Az.
She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter Lesley (and husband Jack Schiraldi), her cherished granddaughter Charlotte Zaremba and her stillborn son Robert.
She is survived by her husband of seventy-two years, Norbert, as well as her daughters Carol Owens (husband Scott), Gail Fritz (husband Bob) and her son Jim Zaremba (wife Suzanne). Grandchildren Lauren Child (husband Matt), Audrey Zaremba, Christopher Schiraldi, Bryan Fritz, and Sean Owens as well as great grandchildren Skyler and Adalee Owens.
Those are the facts, but here is the reality – simply put – our mother was loved by everyone who ever knew her. She was kind to a fault and did not know how to say “no” to anyone that asked. Her family was her everything. We always told her that she was the best mom ever and she said that was because she had the best kids ever. There was never a doubt we were loved. To us, that love will always be her legacy.
