Condolence From: Trudy Hoffsommer
Condolence: Dear Martin Family, In some ways I cannot believe tomorrow marks one year since Paula was taken from us because the constant ache of it makes it feel like it was yesterday ... over and over again. I still miss her so much. I don't know how God's grace comforts us, but I know that He is faithful and will do so. A hurt this deep and inexplicable will always be painful. I am praying that, in time, God will show us how to rest in Him. I love you all and appreciate you very much. Love, Trudy

Condolence: Gene, Freeda and the family: I can think of no greater place to be than in the presence of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ...and that's where Paula is! I cannot think of a more difficult loss than this...I think of Paula everyday...I pray for you and your family everyday, that you would have peace that passes all understanding...peace that only God can give; and strength for the days ahead. --long-time friend of Paula, JulieS

Condolence: I worked with Paula at American Fidelity and she was one of my break buddies. She, along with 2 other wonderful Christian women, brought me back to Jesus. I will always remember her sweet smile and personality. Her funeral service was beautiful. I so enjoyed the tribute from her best friend and also from her division chief at Tinker. It touched my heart to know that the sweet young Paula I knew had grown into such an exceptional woman. I still cannot believe she is gone but take comfort in knowing she is in heaven. To Paula's family and friends, you are in my prayers daily and I pray that God will give you strength, comfort, and courage. How blessed we all were to have known her.

Condolence: Dear Gene & Freeda, We are so sorry about Paula's tragic death and are lifting you up to God for His comfort and peace. I sat beside Paula a number of times in church and listened to her beautiful alto voice. Whenever I encouraged her to be in the choir, she would just smile and shake her head 'no'. We did visit on a number of subjects and I loved her quiet nature and her sweet smile. We are so sorry we are unable to be at the funeral but wanted you both to know that you have been in our prayers since we first heard Wednesday evening and will continue to pray for you. In God's precious love and comfort, Reatha & Fred Willett

Condolence: Paula's loss is devastating to all of us. She was such a wonderful person, never uttering an unkind word. Always eager to help and so full of knowledge. She will always remain in our hearts and will never be forgotten. I'm not sure how we are ever going to overcome losing her, but I'm sure the answer is through friends and family. Let's all be there for one another and hold tight to the memories that will bind us together and bring us comfort during the difficult days that lie ahead.

Condolence: Paula was in my youth group at Sunnyside Baptist Church during the mid seventies. I was shocked to learn of her death. I will never forget her sweet spirit and beautiful smile. It was obvious that she loved the Lord deeply even at the young age that we were. Please know that all of your family is in my prayers. I pray God's peace and grace upon you all. Condolence: Paula was the most remarkable woman I have known. She was caring in both her relationships with people and with her work. She knew more about HER system (CEMS) than anyone, as she worked to develop it since it's start in the late '70s. There is certainly a huge hole in all of our hearts.
