Condolences

Condolence From: Marcellus Allen
Condolence: My condolences, sorry to hear of your loss. Death always causes pain and sorrow. You can gain a measure of comfort in knowing that when Jesus lost his dear friend Lazarus in death, he said, as recorded at John 11:11, "Lazarus our friend has fallen asleep, but I am traveling there to awaken him." At John 11:43 Jesus called out at Lazarus' tomb, "Lazarus, come out!" and Lazarus was resurrected, awaked from death. Jesus will do the same for our loved ones who have fallen asleep in death. At John 5:28, 29 it tells us "the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out." Yes, we can look forward to seeing our loved ones again in the very near future when Jesus resurrects them. The bible also tells us that it will be at a time when "death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." - Revelation 21:3, 4.
