Condolence From: A. J. Key
Condolence: May Randy's family and friends know Gods abiding love and care. Those who served with Randy knew he was the "real deal," someone who could be depended on at difficult calls. A cops legacy is often all they have at the end of their career. Only those they served with remember, and perhaps a cutizen or two. Until we meert again.

Condolence: I grew up with Randy. We were Warriors, Mustangs, and Vikings together. More than classmates, we were teammates. We tackled each other. We blocked each other. We ran sprints to celebrate wins. We ran sprints for punishment for losses. In those formative years, we learned the life skills of teamwork, work ethic, personal responsibility and community. While our careers took us on different paths after high school, I will cherish our childhood, neighborhood, and high school memories forever. Matthew 5:4 Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted. Randy, Praying for you and your family.

Condolence: I just cringed when I read this today. Randy was great cop with sharp wit a contagious laugh that could lighten any moment. Many, many calls I worked with him and, at times, I would walk away shaking my head laughing. It was not so much what he said but how he said that would calm a tense situation down. I learned a lot from him. The world is a little darker place tonight. Prayers to his family and friends.

Condolence: Ah, Randy. So many good memories of you. I think you were pretty sure that I was going to get you fired that night I was riding shotgun (literally) with you and shot the LF tire out of a car we were chasing. Heck, I was pretty sure I was going to get fired. But I think maybe the best memory I have of you is when you took a burglary report at a low-rent apartment and the TV that was this little girl's only entertainment had been stolen. You promptly replaced it out of your own pocket and never mentioned anything about it to anyone. Wouldn't have known if the girl's father hadn't called in to brag on you. Be sure to mention that to St Peter - I think that alone should get you in, old partner!

Condolence: My heartfelt sympathies to Mrs. Hendrickson, her daughter, & Randy's sons. Randy was an established Officer @ Arlington PD, when I came onto his shift as a rookie in 1977. For the next 16 years, Randy & I worked literally side-by-side for hundreds of hours off-duty @ Forum 303 Mall. Randy was a solid Officer who you'd want watching your back. He was a devoted husband, a loving father, & a good man. You will be thought of, & missed

Condolence: It is so sad to hear of Randy's passing; what a great guy he was! When I first joined the police department I learned a great deal from him. What I most remember about Randy was his sense of humor. One of the funniest men I have ever met. That humor brought many laughs to his fellow police officers and we all thank him for that. Prayers for the family.

Condolence: So sorry to hear of Randy's passing. I haven't seen him in so long but we worked together at Arlington PD. I have a great story about Randy and I during a training exercise at the training center back in like 1986 or 1987. It would take too long to tell it here but if your interested you can call 310.719.5479. Again, I am sorry for your loss. What a great guy!
