Vernon Glen Clanahan, 92, was born November 18, 1925 in Rocky, OK the son of Ellis and Clara Clanahan. Glen completed this life on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at the age of 92. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather.

He enjoyed traveling, watching sports (sometimes on 3 TVs), a good trip to the casino, and was even a state champion bowler.

He proudly served for the US Navy in WWII aboard the USS Mettawee and later retired after 30 years with the Federal Home Loan Bank Board.

He was preceded in death by his bride of 65 years, Jacque; his parents; brother Joe Clanahan; sisters Arletha Standifer, Fonsene Gravitt, and Betty Key; and son James Ray Clanahan. He is survived by his son, Howard Glen (Skip) Clanahan and wife Vickie; son, Rusty Clanahan and wife Michele; his brother, Gene Clanahan; grandchildren Brandon Walls, Tyler Clanahan and wife Clarissa, Brittany Clanahan, and Brenna Clanahan, Tracey Rouse, Tiffany Clanahan, Travis Clanahan, Celisa Groom, Pete Nicolle, Jimmy Nicolle and Lindsey Rogers; great grandchildren Brady Walls, Anderson Walls, and Connor Clanahan, Amber Rouse, Tyler Groom, Ashlynn Groom, Bailee Nicolle, Joseph Nicolle, Madison Nicolle, Chucky Rogers, Molly Rogers, Elaina Nicolle, Austynn Nicolle, Gunner Nicolle and Alexandria Nicolle.

Graveside services will be 11:00am Thursday, March 29 at Rose Hill Burial Park.
