Jon Milnes Lovelace was born June 15, 1939 in Columbus, IN, and passed away April 27, 2011. He graduated from Colorado State University with a B.S. in Animal Nutrition. He later obtained a Masters in Education from Western State University. He worked in Ranch Management in western Colorado during his early 20’s, and at 23 became President of the School Board for Grand Valley, CO. He spent 30 years in Sales and Marketing Management, traveling the western half of the U.S. before retiring and enjoying a small ranching operation. He enjoyed ranching, team roping, skiing and his family. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Susan Lovelace, his children, Jeff Lovelace and Cindy of Sheridan, WY, Jennifer Folsom and husband John, of OKC, Jill Williams and husband Jim of OKC, and his grandchildren; Ryan Rosenthal and wife Hailey of OKC, Matthew and Emily Folsom, Alexandria and Jennifer Williams, his aunt, Helen Milnes and his cousin Maryellen McClelland. Services will be held at 3:30 PM Friday, April 29, 2011 at Vondel Smith Mortuary North Colonial Chapel. Donations may be made to a charity of choice.
