Obituary for Angela Tennille Harrell (Harrell)
Angela Tennille Harrell, beloved mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend to many, was greeted by her heavenly Father on the morning of January 26, 2023. Angie lived a life full of love and compassion. She was always ready and willing to help anyone at any time with anything, to which her family and friends would readily attest. She was loved by so many whose lives she touched with a laugh, a touch or a word of encouragement. She loved a good debate on just about any topic and would engage in one with her customary gusto. Quick witted and always ready to be the source of laughter, Angela left her mark upon all with whom she came in contact.
Born October 30, 1975, she kept her parents on their toes. At the age of 2, Kathy and Kerry realized they might have a little Einstein on their hands when she began reciting the alphabet forwards and backwards and followed along with the recorded reading of Tinker Bell, including the ding indicating time to turn the page. This evidence of her giftedness continued into adulthood when she graduated with honors from Southern Nazarene University made possible by earning a prestigious scholarship awarded to the top 3% of students. After graduation, she set out to conquer the injustices of the legal world as a legal aid. Angie was a devoted student who devoured learning and was a force with whom to be reckoned.
Angela is survived by her three children: Taylor Lee and husband Jordan of Oklahoma City, Braydon Evans and wife Kenzie of Mustang, and Erycka Pretorius and husband Cole of Stillwater; mother Kathy Schira and husband Ron of Bethany, father Kerry Harrell and wife Pam of Norman; sisters Tiffany Harrell and partner Whitney Kirk of Oklahoma City, and Melissa Reser-Brasier and husband Dewayne of Noble; Grandmother Jean Craighead of Bethany; much loved nieces and nephews; and countless friends who were like family to her.
Angela is preceded in death by grandfather Wayne Craighead and grandparents Wilson and Pat Harrell. She was welcomed with open arms into heaven by the three of them.
