Obituary for Beatrice Betty Pugh (Willems)

Graveside services for Beatrice will be 2:00 PM Saturday, March 19, 2022 at Resthaven Memory Gardens, 500 SW 104th Street, OKC, OK.

Beatrice Betty Pugh was born on December 5, 1920 in Corn, Oklahoma to parents, George C. and Lizzie (Dick) Willems. As a child, she attend school in Corn, Oklahoma. Beatrice met the love of her life, A.J. Pugh and on March 21, 1945, they married. To this union, they had a daughter, Patricia and raised her in a loving home. Beatrice was one of the original “Rosie the Riveter.” She built planes at Douglas Aircraft Company during WWII. Beatrice was a longtime member of New Heights Baptist Church for 70 years. She loved to crochet and also enjoyed spending time with her gray-haired friends, who called themselves “The Golden Girls”, but most of all, spending time with her family. Beatrice also had a love for the wild cats that lived in her backyard.
She was preceded in death by her:
Parents;
Loving husband, A.J. Pugh, on February 26, 1993.

Beatrice leaves many lasting memories with her:
Daughter, Patricia Woolever and husband, Richard;
Niece, Wilma Jenks
And many other nieces and nephews.
