Bradley Richard Cockings, 51, of Oklahoma City, passed away in his home on Friday, May 5th, 2023. Brad was born on July 9th, 1971 in Encino, California to Cathy Ann (Pugh) and Monte Lee Cockings. Brad grew up in California up until the age of 11 and then relocated to Oklahoma. He graduated from Maud High School in 1989. Brad went on to attend and graduate from Oklahoma State University in 1993 where he served as treasurer in his fraternity Sigma Epsilon. He received his Doctor of Chiropractic in 2001. In 2015, Brad met his wife, Angie. Brad and Angie shared a blended family. Brad has three children of his own, Jackie, Mitchell and Madison. He grained two daughters, Rylea and Raegan when he and Angie married in 2017. Brad enjoyed spending time with his family and watching movies and gardening, as Brad would say, a landscape architect, with his wife on the weekends. He was a loyal L.A. Dodgers and Oklahoma State Cowboys fan. He made an unforgettable impression on anyone he met. His smile as infectious and was willing to help anyone in need.

Brad was preceded in death by his mother, Cathy Ann Pugh. He is survived by his wife, Angie Cockings; children: Jackie, Mitchell, Madison, Rylea and Raegan; and grandchildren: Hudson and Harper; father, Monte Cockings; step-mother, Debra Cockings; sister, Kelly Nelson; brother-in-law, Tevin Nelson and their children: Trenten and Trace; sister, Shawnda Gruette and brother-in-law, Alford Gruette and their children: Alyssa and Brayden; and two beloved dogs, Marley and Tucker.

Brad’s Celebration of Life will be held 10:00 AM Thursday, May 11th, 2023 at the South Colonial Chapel of Vondel L. Smith & Son Mortuary, 6934 S. Western Ave. OKC 73139

Graveside services will take place at Memorial Park Cemetery, 12481 State Highway 19, in Ada, Oklahoma following Celebration of Life Service.
