Our precious wife, daughter, niece, cousin, and friend, Kimberly Kaye (McMasters) Thomas, went to be with the Lord on May 19, 2023, after a short battle with cancer. She was 58 years old.

Kim had a beautiful friendship with her mom, Wanda McMasters, and a love for the ages with her best friend and husband of 31 years, Paul Thomas. They were completely head over heels in love and inseparable. They loved traveling the world together.

After Kim graduated from Western Heights High School in 1982, she earned a Bachelors degree in Finance from UCO in 1986. After college she worked for Industrial Video, an Oklahoma City video equipment dealership, where she met her future husband Paul.

Soon afterwards she began a 29-year career in both Quality Assurance and Information Technology that proved to be very successful. Her skills led her to be hired by some of the most influential companies in the USA. She worked as Business Analyst at the Hertz Corporation. She was a Quality Assurance Manager at Fleming Foods. She traveled to Park City, Utah every week to work as a project manager with the Park City Group.

She later joined Sonic Industries in Oklahoma City as Director of the Project Management Office, and worked for Devon Energy as I.T. Quality Assurance Manager. For several years Kim acted as Senior Technology Strategist in the I.T. department at the University of Oklahoma. Upon her death she was a Senior Manager at INFOR, a multinational company headquartered in New York City.

Kim touched many lives with her encouragement and support. This was obvious by testimonies from individuals she associated with professionally. She also mentored many young professional careers through her work with OU and with Oklahoma Women in Technology.

Kim created many cherished memories, and was a dear friend to so many, which included “The Sisters”, Kathy Duggan, Teresa Bennett, Tiffany Mcfadden, Tammy Godfrey, Susie Maeder, Janet Bradford and Jennifer Amburn. They are lifelong friends and self-proclaimed sisters who remain close to this day.

Kim is predeceased by her father, Roger McMasters, as well as two of her sisters, Tammy and Susie. She is survived by her husband, Paul Thomas, and her mother, Wanda McMasters, and a host of family and friends who loved her dearly.
