Agnes Louise
Belding
Nov 21, 1929 — May 29, 2026
Oklahoma City
Agnes Louise Belding, born Agnes Louise Price on November 21, 1929, in Temple, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on May 29, 2026, at the age of 96.
Louise graduated from Central High School in Oklahoma City with the Class of 1950. In her early adulthood, she worked at a local movie theater before embracing her role as a dedicated homemaker and becoming known as an exceptional cook.
She was married to Edmond Rhea Belding, and together they built a loving family, raising two children, Clifford Rhea Belding and Cynthia June McGrew. After the passing of her husband at the age of 48, Louise remained steadfast in her devotion to her family and lived as a widow for the remainder of her life. Through the years, she continued to center her life around love, family, and caring for others.
That devotion was evident in everything she did. Louise's greatest joy was her family, and she was known for her kind and gentle nature, her generous smile, and her gift for making others feel welcome. Hosting holidays, especially Christmas, was where she truly shined. Her beautifully set tables, thoughtful decorations, wonderful meals, and attention to every detail made every gathering feel special and memorable.
She expressed her love by creating a warm and welcoming home for family and friends alike. An excellent cook who took pride in preparing meals and bringing loved ones together, Louise found happiness in the simple pleasures of life. She enjoyed gardening, caring for animals, watching movies, reading her Bible, and creating beautiful things. Family was her love language, and she found her greatest fulfillment in caring for those she loved.
Louise is survived by her son, Clifford Rhea Belding; her daughter, Cynthia June McGrew; her daughter-in-law, Lorita Belding; her beloved granddaughter, Meggan Patricia McGrew; her cherished great-grandchildren, Rex Conrad McDonald and Capri Raquel McDonald; and her grandson, Michael Belding.
Her devotion to family created a legacy that will live on for generations.
She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
