Alfred Bruce "Doug" Bridgeman was born October 21, 1944 in Tryon, North Carolina the son of George Washington and Rose (Bradley) Bridgeman. Doug completed this life at his home on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at the age of 77.

Doug was raised in North Carolina. He proudly served our country in the U.S. Navy where he was honorably discharged. While in the Navy he was introduced to Carolyn Kaye Peery. They began writing to each other and were married in 1969.

Doug was preceded in death by his parents and his sisters. He experienced a huge loss when his son, Trent Douglas Bridgeman, passed away eight months ago on April 7th, 2021.

Doug is survived by his wife of 53 years, Carolyn; his daughter, Trina Kaye Bridgeman; as well as numerous friends throughout the country.

Viewing will be from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. Friday, December 3rd. Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 4, 2021 at the Oaklawn Cemetery in Wynnewood, OK.
