To view Allen's Funeral Service Recording please click here. Allen Gann was born in Ahvaz, Iran on March 21, 1956. After graduation from high school, at the age of 17 years old, he came to the USA all by himself. Allen worked his way through college and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering in 1979 and a Bachelor's of Petroleum Engineering in 1981 from the University of Oklahoma. Allen chose Oklahoma City as his home base and worked as a Petroleum Engineer. He founded his company Amcon Resources Inc. in 1987, which has been operational ever since. Later in life, Allen worked as a Real Estate Investor in Oklahoma City. Allen's life is a perfect example of the American dream coming true. He touched so many lives by countless acts of kindness, whether it was personally or professionally. He laid the path for others to succeed. He shared the benefits of his hard work with everyone including the people he took under his wings. He was and always will be an inspiration to the entire family, friends, colleagues and everyone who crossed paths with him. Allen was preceded in death by his loving: Parents, Ebrahim Ghanavatian & Bibi Khanom Ghanavatizadeh. He is survived by his loving: Brothers: Iraj Ghanavatian, Ardeshir Ghanavatian & Amin Gann; Sisters: Iran Rahimi & Irandokht Gann; One niece; And, 6 Nephews. He has left a void in our hearts that never will be filled. We are grateful for the chance to have him in our lives, and miss him and will love him forever.
