Alvin "Ward" Hayes passed away on Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at the age of 70 years old. He was born on November 2, 1951 to his parents, Alvin and Lois Hayes. After graduating from Capitol Hill High School, he was drafted into the United States Army honorably serving his country during the Vietnam War,following his service in the United States Army, Ward attended Central State University where he graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology. On June 21, 1997 he married his sweetheart, Debbie Curry in Orlando, Florida. Together they shared nearly 25 years of marriage and family. For 30 years, Ward worked in the residential real estate industry and successfully sold many properties. An avid OU Sooner football fan, Ward enjoyed watching the games.

He was preceded in death by his:

Parents, Alvin and Lois Hayes.

He leaves behind his loving family:

Wife of 25 years, Debbie Hayes of the home;

Daughter, Casey Cutrera and her children: Shayne Faulkner, Payton Arceneaux, and Gage Cutrera;

Daughter, Ceci Brown and her husband, Chad Brown and their children: Mason Brown and Walker Brown;

Two Great Grandchildren: Jaya and Briella;

Many friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to be made to honor Ward and his love for all children to the "Make A Wish Foundation"!
