Funeral services for Ann Boggs will be 2:00 PM Monday, December 11, 2023 at the Vondel Smith Mortuary South Lakes Chapel, 4000 SW 119th Street, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Interment to follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens.

E. Ann Boggs, fondly known as Ann by her family and friends, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 5, 2023, at the age of 78. The daughter of Elva (Racer) and Henry L. Wright, Ann was born on May 26, 1945 in Amarillo, TX. She grew up in Amarillo and graduated from Palo Duro High School in 1963. During High School Ann met a handsome young man by the name of James Leroy Boggs and the two fell in love and became inseparable, they were united in holy matrimony on June 29, 1963. This union of marriage was blessed with three children, eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren. After 45 years of marriage James lost his battle with lung cancer on July 13, 2008. In addition to being a loving wife, devoted mother, dedicated homemaker, Ann also worked for the Moore Schools as well as a Legal Secretary for many years and was a breast cancer survivor. In her spare time, Ann enjoyed many hobbies including quilt making, sewing, gardening, and traveling, but nothing was as important to her as spending time with the ones she loved the most, her family and friends.

Husband of 45 years James Leroy Boggs

Ann is survived by her family:

Sisters, Janice Flaherty and Barbara McAllister

Daughters, Lynn Boggs and Lisa Boggs-McGhee

Son, Scott Boggs

Grandchildren, Brooke Dalrymple, Karli McGhee, Sara Boggs, Lea Boggs, Ethan Martinez, Allison Kratochwill, Lindsey Kratochwill and Taylor Reed.
