Ann Lucille Childs went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at the age of 74. She was born April 2, 1940 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Hamilton Downey and Janice Marcealus (Jennings) Brooks. She married Chester Dale Childs and they made their home in south Oklahoma City. Ann dedicated her life to providing a warm and loving home for her family. Ann and Chester enjoyed dancing and belonged to Beverly and Bob's Dance Group, the "Kickers". She was devoted to her family, leaving them with precious memories. She will be deeply missed by family and friends. Ann was preceded in death by her: Parents; Husband ~ Chester; and Son ~ Steven D. Childs. She is survived by her: Sons ~ David and wife, Betsy, and Robert Childs; Daughter ~ Vickie Boggs and husband, Wes; Sisters ~ Sharon Cornell, and Linda McClain-Theison and husband, Dean; Sister-in-law ~ Phyllis Minyard and husband, Harland; 14 Grandchildren; 19 Great-Grandchildren; and A host of nieces, nephews and friends.
