On Wednesday, February 22, 2023, Anna Irene Maxwell's faith became sight as she looked face to face with her Savior. She was born September 28, 1925 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, the daughter of John Lee and Marie (Black) Keller. Anna was married to Raleigh J. Maxwell and together they raised their 4 children. Anna was a dedicated homemaker who enjoyed crocheting, camping, fishing, and playing games. She was a longtime member of Southwest Baptist Church and loved the Lord and her family with all her heart.
She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Raleigh J. Maxwell; daughter, Dianna Conner; second husband, Lee Thomas; three sons-in-law, Mike Thagard, David Bennett, and Bill Conner; two brothers, Johnny and Paul Keller; and two sisters, Ruth Keller and Mary Barnett; 3 grandsons: Michael Albert Thagard, Jr, John David Bennett, and Ryan Maxwell as well as a great granddaughter, Nicole Diane Brown.
She leaves cherished memories with her son, Raleigh Gene & Carolyn Maxwell; and daughters, Scharlotte Thagard and Amy McGee & husband Leroy; Grandchildren: Mike Thagard, Scott Thagard, Rick Thagard, Karen Pelman, Tim Bennett, Todd Maxwell, Chad Maxwell, Cory Maxwell, Amy Johnson, Joy Fleuridas, Lori Smith, Teresa Brown; Great Grandchildren: Emily Randall, Britton Thagard, Brooke Thagard, Cody Thagard, Savanna Thagard, Jackson Thagard, Kristin Chu, Michelle Pelman, Bradley, Desiree Bennett Wells, Allie Bennett, Jake Bennett, Joshua Maxwell, Rebekah Fister, Rachel Van Maren, Brianna Boyd, Trevor Maxwell, Brooklyn Loftin, Kara Addison, Jeff Maxwell, Richard Maxwell, Colton Wyman, Alyssa Adkins, Tyler Maxwell, Ashley Mendoza, Levi Maxwell, Kegan Johnson, Lauren Crothers, Kaleb Johnson, Avery Johnson, Max Johnson, Noel Delano, Hope Bugbee, Ryan Maxwell, Christian Fleuridas, and Angela Smith; as well as her legacy will continue with 24 great great grandchildren.
