IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Anuradha
Prasad
October 25, 1961 – February 13, 2024
In loving memory of Anuradha Prasad, born in Patna, Bihar, India on October 25, 1961, a cherished wife and devoted mother whose life unfolded across continents. After graduating from Patna Women's College, she married Dr. Niraj Prasad on November 28, 1983, embarking on a journey of love and companionship.
For 8 years, Anuradha called Vellore home. She then had her two children, Navaneet and Ankita, creating a life filled with joy and cherished memories. She moved to the United States living in Michigan, Louisiana and finally settling in Oklahoma. Over the past 24 years, Oklahoma City became a home where Anuradha built a life of joy and service.
Beyond her role as a wife and mother, Anuradha dedicated herself to the betterment of her community and showed unwavering devotion to the Hindu Temple of Oklahoma. Her countless hours and selfless service to the temple without seeking any recognition was truly inspiring. Her commitment to spiritual values left a lasting legacy.
In addition to her duties at the temple, she volunteered at Wings, a community of special needs adults. There, she helped with various classes and projects exhibiting the same selflessness of service to people of all different walks of life.
Anuradha departed peacefully on February 13, 2024, surrounded by the love she so freely gave throughout her life. Her days were not only defined by her steadfast faith but also by the personal touch she brought to every interaction. Anuradha had an innate ability to make everyone feel seen and valued.
As we bid farewell to Anuradha, let us remember the warmth of her smile, and the love that flowed abundantly from her heart. She will be survived by her husband Niraj, her children Navaneet and Ankita & son-in-law Satyendra. May her spirit rest in eternal peace, and may her memory continue to inspire acts of kindness and compassion in our lives.
