She enjoyed and remembered her students over the years and was still in touch with many of them. She loved to do crossword puzzles and spend time with her two grandchildren. She is preceeded in death by her parents Charles and Rosa Keller and one grandson Clayton Alex Henderson.

Her dedication to teaching was only surpassed by her devotion to her family and many friends who loved her and will never forget everything she brought to all of their lives. Her kind, loving smile, bright eyes and sweet disposition always brought warmth to your heart. She was an extremely loving, thoughtful and giving person, whose focus was always on the well-being of her family and friends. She was a devoted wife and mother, daughter, and a great friend to so many. Barbara had the ability to influence and touch the lives of everyone she met. She made many dear friends throughout her life who will miss her terribly. God has gained a most special and beautiful angel. Barbara leaves a legacy of love, joy and devotion seldom accomplished by others. She spent her last years at Bixby Health & Rehab surrounded by a professional and caring staff.
