Viewing will be from 4-8PM Friday at the funeral home. A funeral service to celebrate Barbara's life will be 10:00 AM, Saturday, March 14, 2020 at Southern Hills Baptist Church (8601 S. Penn) with entombment to follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens in OKC. Barbara Hamilton passed away March 11, 2020 in Oklahoma City. She was born to Everett and Lillie Lightner on November 21, 1933 in Norman, OK. She was a longtime member of Southern Hills Baptist Church and worked as a supervisor for the FAA. She married the love of her life, Harold Hamilton, November 28, 1957 and they were married until his passing in 2008. During Barbara's life, she was a member of the Eastern Star and formerly of the Women of the South organizations. She enjoyed spending time on making puzzles. Barbara was reunited with her parents; husband, Harold; and brother, Donald Ray Lightner. She is survived by her sisters, Opal Bledsoe and Karen Smith; many nieces, nephews, friends, loved ones and god-children.
